It’s the weekend, but I got to slow things down because Vino’s party is going to be tomorrow.

I slept at almost 5am because of my Mister Kebab escapade, but got up at around 9am. We had our usual morning hangout at the dining table before I went up to fix our things. We’re going back to BGC right after Vino’s birthday, so I had to get everything ready for the move.

After getting things done, I connected with my sister about her hydroponics page. She wants to have a consistent flow of content to make the page alive, and I said I have the time to help her do that now.

I haven’t done this type of thing, but any learning opportunity is a good opportunity. I made a rough draft of things I want to explore about the business and maybe line up a bunch of content for her once I get them organized.

After our short sit-down, I went on to pick Vino up in Sta. Mesa. I thought about getting a massage on the way, but I couldn’t find a reputable one that’s on the way. Thinking about the timing of it, I realized time might be tight because Vino will definitely go for a drive-by as he will take his time saying goodbye.

I got to Ten’s place at around 4:30pm and Vino was far from ready, which was fine.

On the way to their place, I was listening to Bago Matulog with Red Ollero, where they were talking about snacks.

At some point, kwek-kwek and tukneneng were discussed. While waiting for Vino, I asked Ten if there was any shop selling nearby. She volunteered to take a tricycle to buy it instead of getting a Grab delivery.

We decided to use the car and I’ll just park on the side while she buys the good stuff. Our successful expedition yielded kikiam, kwek-kwek, tukneneng, and some ice cream for the kids.

It’s Vino’s first time to try kwek-kwek, so I was curious about his reaction. He ate a couple, and said he liked the kikiam as well. It helped that Ate Tia was eating it as well.

Chiro had a visitor and they were going to have a drinking session, I wanted to join but apart from the supposed slow Friday, my dad really wanted to eat at Velada again.

My dad kept talking about the tomahawk steak and he wanted to go back for it. He’s heading back to Bicol on Monday, and we’re going back to BGC after Vino’s birthday. Traveling here going to be a pain if ever, so this was a good time to go back there while we had a chance.

Both Vino and I are still kind of full from our snacks back at Ten’s house. He had lugaw before I came and he had kwek-kwek.

I had a drink while Vino had his favorite chicken poppers. Before we ended the night, we saw Arianne, who picked up her car from Velada as she borrowed Christian’s.

We got home a little later, and I got Vino to get ready to sleep. However, even at almost 12am, he was still telling a lot of stories on bed. From dreams to the things they played, he was just going on and on.

I feel like it’s the excitement for his birthday, and while I wanted to wait until 12am, I was hoping he wouldn’t get to that time so we can wake up early for the party tomorrow.
