With just Vino and me at home, it’ll be quicker to prepare food to cut the cooking time when he’s home.

He’s not as excited for his second day of school as he was for the first, as it took a while before I got him to drag himself out of bed.

Still, it’s difficult to get back to sleep if the blinds are up and all that morning light is in the room.

However, we were quicker to reach school today than we were yesterday.

On my way back, I headed to Vivo for some more groceries for what I planned to make at home.

As a forgetful person, I always wonder if I need anything else but later decide I’m good. Once I’m back home, that’s when I remember the things I should have bought.

They were minor things, but it’s still frustrating that I wasn’t able to buy it when I was already there.

I did a little housekeeping at home and later decided to prep some food for Vino.

My cousin told me that he would usually squeeze calamansi in a bottle to make the shelf life longer. I thought it’s a great idea, because sometimes our calamansi gets spoiled as it stays too long in the fridge.

It was a challenge, for sure. My fingers were locking by the end of it but I guess that’s signs of aging.

I made some meatballs, which was another challenge for the hands. It’s my go-to food to get some veggies into Vino.

Usually, I turn 500grams of this to a bunch so we can have it as a quick dinner and easy lunch pack for Vino.

After prepping pork steak as well, I was off to pick up Vino in school.

I asked the kids to input their Roblox ID’s on my account so that I could add them to Vino’s when we got home.

He’s been bugging me to ask parents about the kids’ Roblox accounts, and I keep telling him not all the parents know about it.

After the kids put their Roblox names, he ran off to play in the pitch while I waited for one of his classmates to get picked up. It’s nice to talk to the kids like this, it’s just sometimes, I think I need to stop myself from shutting down some of their outrageous ideas.

I waited for Vino to finish up playing and caught up with some of the helpers who picked up his friends. Dude was exhausted and finished the contents of his water bottle. I gave him a fan so he could cool down a bit.

When we got home, I did some housekeeping, and Vino has been asking to play. I felt bad for keeping him waiting, so I said we can play around 6pm. We played 99 Nights in the Forest againm and it took another 3 hours for us.

Good thing the meatballs were easy to cook, so I was able to prepare it quick and the rice was ready.

We went to bed and continued our Marvel Infinity Saga marathon, and we’re at Iron Man 2 and Thor. Near 11pm, I told him that he needed to sleep already.

One twist and turn on my arm and he was fast asleep already. He was really tired, and just wanted to stay up. But he had football practice tomorrow, so I wanted him to rest up already.

Meanwhile, from miles away, Che told us that she met up with Shara for dinner. Their conversation turned to life stories, and tears were allegedly shed.

They decided to move to Che’s room to continue their conversation. It was decided that Shara would sleep over instead.

They later sent me a photo that they were up until 1am. I’m proud that these two early sleepers were able to keep each other awake until midnight.

Usually, they are the first people who would ask to end a night early, but I guess time flew by for them this night. It’s always nice to know that Che has a chance to let loose and enjoy the company of good friends.
