We were set to meet Uncle Owe today, so it was time for us to go back home.
I woke up around 10:30am and we got ready to check out from the Airbnb. I had a bit of a headache from the things we drank the night before, but one Saridon and a bath helped a lot.
When we were storing our stuff in the car, I noticed one of my phones was missing. I had a very clear memory of holding it, and I didn’t hear anything drop, so I know it’s just somewhere near. I eventually found it in one of the paperbags, but it helped wake me up even more.
Tia came with us for a final playdate with Vino. She’s the closest thing to Vino having a sister, so we always appreciate it when she spends time with us.
We wanted to have lunch before heading back to my family’s house, and we decided to eat around BGC. We haven’t really decided on what to eat, so we walked around until we found something we liked.
Vino was familiar with the place, so he requested to eat at Pink’s.
When we were here back in July, we frequented Pink’s because Vino likes hotdogs, and this was one of the best for him. It’s a bit on the pricey side, which just adds to the list of Vino’s expensive tastes.
We passed by Christian’s place to drop off the fresh kimchi that he was supposed to take home.
I joked that my side of the family was going to get together at the house, so he should come by. He said he wasn’t planning on doing anything that night, so he said he’ll come.
We came home to wait for Uncle Owe, who was coming from Batangas. He initially said they might arrive around 7pm, but circumstances led to them leaving at that time.
Christian and I started our drinks while waiting. While we were together the night before, we really didn’t talk much because of all the people around. We took this chance to catch up more intimately.
Uncle Owe arrived around 10:30pm and we drank the night away. Christian went home at some point in the night, but my uncle and I continued to drink until the morning.
He didn’t know where he was supposed to park, so my mom and I guided him until he could park.
Since Tia was sleeping with us, I decided not to go up to the room and crashed on the sofa.
