The sisters are all present for the holidays, so we set aside a day for all of us to celebrate together.
We were already checked in to the same building as Kaloi and Elle, so we were pretty relaxed about preparing for the day. Che and I planned to leave Vino with Kathreen so that we could watch Bar Boys to support our friend’s movie.
However, as we were talking, we realized Dynamite Kiss on Netflix was already complete, so we started watching it. If It wasn’t good, we probably would head out to eat and watch the movie.
As we were enjoying it, we decided against going out and just lounged in front of the TV to watch about three episodes of the series.
One by one, the sisters arrived, so we also got ready to go down to the entertainment room.
Christmas is a festive time for the Marcaidas, so they went all-out in preparing decorations for the rented space. They took maybe an hour or so getting the decors done before we started eating.
We’re not going to be here by the new year, so they combined Christmas and New Year in this gathering.
After eating, we had some games courtesy of Verge. Christian, an adopted Marcaida, came over to celebrate with us.
If there’s anything we’ve learned about the Marcaida sisters, it’s that they can make even the quietest games very loud. And no game is just a game, it’s always going to be competitive.
Vino was surprisingly good in some of the games that the adults played, so we’ll probably get him to join next time.
The games may have gone longer than it should, so I asked if we could stop so we can start singing already. We entered some medleys and some familiar songs all the way until 12 midnight.
We moved to our Airbnb, where we continued our session. We initially wanted to sing more, but since everyone was sitting at the table already, we didn’t bother to move anymore.
Apart from talking, we had a few rounds of the 3,6,9 game we played at the Cabusoras. When before, we barely got to 40, this time around, we reached the 60s with ease because as I said, these girls are competitive.
I ordered some beer around 3am as we ran out of alcohol, but I knew we weren’t going to finish it all. Most of us felt sleepy already, and we adjourned around 5am. Kaloi’s older brother, Oyie, and I continued until I finished my beer, but my eyes were failing me already.
We wrapped up and called it a night. Tomorrow Me will learn if drinking three types of tequila, Lemon-Dou, and beer produces a hangover.
