Today, the kids were the boss, from activities to food.

Having zero plans allows us to do stuff based on what time we wake up and what time we want to move, so this day was gonna be about the kids.

We wanted to go to the trampoline park we saw before lunchtime today, so I told the kids they had to wake up early. Tia declared she was going to wake up at 7am, but she got up at 10am.

Vino got up at 8am and walked proudly around the living room to show that he made good on his promise of waking up early.

I got the kids breakfast, and off we went to the trampoline park. I thought I’d just leave them to play, but then I had nothing better to do anyway. I just went in and jumped half-heartedly because I didn’t want to sweat so much.

It was then that I learned that it’s impossible not to sweat when jumping. We jumped around, played a bit of dodgeball, and ran around the place. There weren’t a lot of people, which was good for us.

I felt like about 10 minutes into it, I was already done with it because we saw everything that can be done already. Still, we powered through and had fun. If there’s one thing that would deter me from going back, it’s that the foam pit smells like dirty socks.

With all the sweat we had and no extra shirt handy (because brainfart), I planned to get all of us a shirt at Uniqlo. But when I asked them where they wanted to have lunch, they both said they wanted the hotdog sandwich from last night. That was near the place we were staying at.

So we got back in the car and went back to the hotel to get a change of clothes and walk over to the hotdog place.

The place is called Pink’s, and they do have pretty good hotdogs.

During this time, I realized that I left my ID in the trampoline place, and we had to go back later to get it. After we ate, I got a sandwich to go that I could bring over to Che. I was denied entry because I didn’t know what floor Che’s actual office is.

She got busy and wasn’t able to reply. I decided to just go back to the trampoline place again to get my ID. When we got back, it was another maybe 20 minutes before Che responded. The important thing, though, was that I was able to get her some food.

She’s been in a lot of meetings as of late, with some even happening at lunchtime. It made me at ease knowing at least she had access to food for when she gets hungry.

Once I got back in the room, it was time for swimming. The kids have wanted to swim on this beautiful day, but I told them that the jacuzzi is closed off again. It didn’t matter for them, because there was still a big pool we could swim in.

The kids got tired and we went back to the room. There was a promise of a burger steak, so I prepped that while the kids took turns in the shower. We still had ingredients for bah kut teh, so I told Che that we were going to have that for dinner.

I had a cooking pot going for the bah kut teh while I prepped the meat for the burger steak. Once the patties were ready, the pot went to the smaller induction hob.

I didn’t wait for Che to come home so the kids can already eat. After all, she was going to have a different dinner.

We are set to check out on Saturday, and I was set to drop Tia and Vino off at Ten’s place on Friday. Che started to pack things away already so that I can drop it in Vista after I take the kids to Ten’s place.

Again, these are things that could have been done while Che was away, but it was best for her to know which ones go where. Plus she is very particular with how things are packed, so I just did what she asked to help in any way I can.

We still had a bit of time to watch our K-Drama (right now, it’s My Ghost Clients on Netflix), but she was out of it midway through. I said we should all go to sleep already and went to the living room so the kids can relax on the bed.

A little past midnight, the kids went out to pick the pringles can as they had 7 Bears (also on Netflix) on the TV. I’m guessing it will be another late morning tomorrow.
