It’s been a few days of not having a lot of human interaction apart from Vino.
While my days usually go on like this, I always get to start and end it by talking to Che. Of course, we do video calls while she’s away, but feels kinda different when she’s away.

On days like these, I mostly talk to myself (in my head, of course, I’m not a lunatic – yet.) and ponder things that are beyond my control.
For example, I found an article talking about finding a planet 12 million light years away that had the same molecules as life on Earth.
Scientifically, it’s a breakthrough because it might be proof of life beyond Earth.
For me though, it makes me fall into a deep hole of unnecessary thoughts.
First, is Earth so messed up now that moving to a different planet actually an option scientists are looking to now?
Second, how much time does Earth have left?
Third, what world will Vino and his offspring grow into?
Fourth, will anyone actually traverse the galaxy to reach that planet?
Fifth, will that planet have more advanced tech to actually reach us instead?
Sixth, is it possible that that is where life as we know it came from and that meteor that killed off the dinosaurs was actually us escaping that planet?
Then it goes on to questioning my own mortality and how miniscule my issues are compared to the vastness of the universe.
I never want to make it a habit, but it happens from time to time. I then turn to mindless fun like candy crush, shows that don’t require reading subs, or doomscrolling stupid things on social media.
These keep my mind occupied enough to not be anxious about the space thing and a lot of other random worries I may have.
Outside of falling to those holes, the day went by as per usual.

Cooked breakfast, took Vino to school, picked him up, went to football training, then came home for dinner.
Of note was that Vino didn’t play as goalkeeper the whole game and he was able to score a goal in their practice match.
He also enjoyed playing with the Whatsapp filters and sent those to Che. We call him ViGnome with that face.
Thursday is going to be his last school day of the week as Friday is a holiday, so we can have a bit more fun when he comes home from school.
